Overview

Administrative professionals work in a number of capacities within an office environment. Their main job is to ensure the smooth running of the office that they are responsible for and to ensure that all clerical work and customer handling is performed flawlessly. This workshop will give you the skills and knowledge you need to achieve this.

  • Balancing the demands of multiple bosses or a team 
  • Establishing effective procedures – organising diaries and follow-up 
  • Managing your time effectively – avoiding ‘time stealers’ 
  • Organising meetings and travel etc. – key tips 
  • Awareness of how IT can help you manage your time 
  • Using office technology effectively 
  • Standard office procedures – why and how 
  • Systems that work 
  • Preparation for internal meetings
