Mountains of water

Duration: 2.5 days, incl. evening work Number of participants: 16 - 200
Target audience: All employees

Event overview

A scenario-based event where groups of teams from the same organisation will come together. They will be tested by mental, physical and skill based activities and challenges through each phase of the scenario culminating in a final challenge where all knowledge, intuition and experience of each team will be needed to succeed.

The event is designed to take place over a period of two and a half days and two nights, right from the beginning of this period your teams will be immersed into the scenario.

The scenario is set whereby your organisation has been invited to bid for a new water transportation project that will run across the length of Emirates. As a new fresh ground water source has been discovered in the Emirate of Fujairah, Abu Dhabi wants to use this supply to replenish ground water levels in strategic areas across the emirate, Al Khaznah, Sweihan and Al Wathba.

As ground water resources in the UAE and water security are strategically linked to food security and the continued development and self-sufficiency of the nation the opportunities for this project are extremely great. Therefore the project owners will be testing each specially chosen group on a mixture of skills. The winners will become the project leaders which will be potentially worth multiple billions of dirhams.

The key competencies

  • Initiative
  • Ingenuity
  • Innovation
  • Positive risk taking
  • Feedback

The final outcome

You and your teams will have come together through a multitude of different activities and challenges. You will have witnessed the full lifecycle of a team and a project, experiencing emotionally and physically what it is possible to achieve when you reach peak performance. Bonds and working knowledge will have been created between colleagues of all levels which you can continue and transfer back to your workplace.
