Skill assessment and development

Assessments are the single most effective way to objectively evaluate knowledge, skills and attitudes.  We use only the most accurate and valid methods of testing, ensuring reliable data can be collected and analysed by our specialists.  We have a core of highly experienced assessors and verifiers who ensure the highest of quality standards.

Assessment/ Development centres

Assessment/ Development Centres have a number of key features. They are essentially multiple assessment processes, during which a group of participants take part in a variety of exercises, observed by a team of trained observers, who evaluate each participant against a number of pre-determined, job-related behaviours.  Decisions (for assessment or development) are then made by pooling shared data.

Each Assessment/ Development Centre is designed to meet your specific requirements whilst ensuring that the assessment process is highly accurate, stable and job relevant. Reporting is based on observed, measured behaviour: objective evidence is provided rather than subjective inferred judgement.

Our Assessment centres enable you to:

  • Select the best candidate for a specific job
  • Support your choice with objective, measurable outcomes
  • Avoid costly hiring mistakes

Our Development centres enable you to:

  • Identify employees’ potential
  • Identify employees’ competencies
  • Plan the development of individual employees

Bespoke training development

We offer a range of short courses and competency-based training, designed to fit your needs. Before designing a bespoke course, our consultants carefully assess your requirements to ensure we provide the right solution. Courses are then tailored, and contextualised to industry and client-specific standards. Our courses are mapped to commonly used competencies, making it easier for you to fit our delivery into your requirements. Our full course library provides our core offering or contact us to design a course specifically for you.

Compliance programme design and delivery

Compliance is the most basic but important organisational responsibility and is achieved through a range of internal controls, but are most effective when supported with employee awareness and development.

We offer tailored solutions to raise awareness of and conformance to:

  • Codes of conduct
  • Health and safety standards
  • Legal frameworks
  • Statutory obligations
  • Regulatory obligations
  • Other company specific standards

Certified training

Many of our courses can be certified through our globally recognised leading accrediting partners, providing successful participants with an internationally recognised certificate. An additional benefit is that participants would also be awarded free studying membership with the awarding body, for example the Institute of Leadership and Management, for the duration of the course.

Should successful participants wish to continue with their professional development, these courses can provide the learner with a pathway to a full qualification.
