Future-fitting leadership

Leadership is occurring in an increasingly complex and changing environment. The rate of change has accelerated to the point where knowledge can be out of date within two years, the marketplace is borderless, customers expect increasing customisation of products and services, shifts in globalisation, ageing workforce profiles and unprecedented scrutiny through social media are among the many challenges facing leaders.

Leadership is no longer just about having an MBA, but about possessing a core set of competences and personal traits that allow leaders to constantly adapt to the rate of change. This future-fitting of leadership is essential for the modern leader.

The answer lies in identifying the right competencies, recruiting talent with the capacity for change, and actively managing the leadership pipeline through engagement and purposeful development that does not only rely on business schools, but also on developing the personal skills required for lasting, effective leadership.

We develop our solutions using the key competency model from the Center for Creative Leadership (http://www.ccl.org), which was developed from the data of over 500,000 successful managers and executives or build solutions based on the company framework.

Future-fitting Leadership

There are three core times when leadership assessment is recommended:

  1. Recruitment The right candidate is more successfully recruited by utilising assessment centres and psychometric tools to measure them objectively against specific job competencies.
  2. Development Identifying competency gaps through 360 degree feedback tools, development centres, psychometric tools and simulations (again measured against the job competencies).
  3. High-potential and succession Identifying potential of an individual to hold a future leadership role, which is assessed using development centres, psychometric tools and simulations.

We have a full suite of assessment solutions that will ensure the process is objective and valid and closely supports the long-term leadership requirements of your company.

Development and coaching

Bespoke leadership programs or internationally certified options will enhance leadership quality and effectiveness.

Our leadership programmes include:

Executive coaching

A good coach helps even the best managers to boost performance. Our coaches work one-to-one with individuals to focus on performance and goal-related results that they want to achieve. We provide a confidential, supportive but challenging environment in which business people can explore issues that are currently limiting their performance, plan and take action to reach their goals.

Before conducting executive coaching, we explore the current performance and potential of the leader, and identify the challenges being faced. This enables us to design a coaching programme tailored specifically for the needs of the individual and the organisation.

Our trained, certified coaches are qualified by the British Psychological Society, the International Coach Federation or other bodies to administer and interpret a range of psychometric tools which can be used during coaching sessions. We create the right conditions to guarantee that our coaching sessions are one of the best investments in your people.

Executive retreats

Leaders have many competing demands and a retreat offers the perfect time out to concentrate on the practice of leadership. Every retreat is different, focusing on the specific need of the team.

We take time to understand your needs and requirements, helping to design a retreat that will meet your needs and guarantee that you will see and feel the success. Our management consultants will suggest and agree with you a range of tasks, activities and challenges for the team to complete.
