College to career: making a successful transition

Overview

This 10 day tailored course has been designed for new employees who have recently graduated from secondary school, college, university or the ATI and are now in their first job. Making the transition from College to Career is not easy; this course smooth’s the way and shows trainees how to take responsibility for themselves and their career development, and to work effectively within a multi-cultural business environment.

Objectives

By the end of this course participants will be able to:

  • Behave in a mature and responsible way to develop their career targets
  • Meet company and manager expectations
  • Work within a multi-cultural team and communicate with others
  • Create and maintain a good working relationship
  • Understand and give good customer service
